We had a really fun 4th of July this year! We were so lucky to be able to spend it in Washington DC! We went to the beach for part of the day and then headed downtown later that night for the fireworks! It was one of the BEST shows I have seen in a long time...( I don't really remember much about fireworks, because if you know me, you know I HATE loud noises, but I was able to suck it up and really enjoy the fireworks!!)It was pretty surreal to be in the nations capital for such a significant time in our countries history! We sat in front of the National Monument with the reflecting pool and Lincoln Memorial in front of us, and the White House to the right of us! IT was pretty cool :)
I'm so thankful to be a citizen of this amazing country, and enjoy all the freedoms I know I take for granted everyday. Hope ya'll all had a great 4th! :)
